You're doing the things you're "supposed" to do as a coach/business owner-
(creating content, responding to check ins, messaging clients, posting stories)
but it isn't giving you the results you want.
(more sales, quality clients, more DM conversations, safety and calm in your business)
It's EXACTLY like the coaching client that came to you saying 'I'm doing all the right things',
but they weren't seeing progress in the areas that mattered to them.
You both feel like you're putting in way too much effort for the outcomes you're currently seeing.
The strategy needs to change.
But often the thing that will actually get you results is exactly the thing you've been avoiding.
The idea of taking a pause and slowing down for a sec so you can actually evaluate your strategy feels terrifying.
So you continue to put in a silly amount of effort towards what just feels productive.
And as a mother, we just don't have the time, energy or emotional capacity to waste on sh*t that isn't working.
Mothers are literally the most capable segment of the population IMO, but sometimes we get stuck in doing mode.
And when you're a solo coach trying to run a sustainable, successful business,
it makes a hell of a lot more sense to stop the cycle of feeling productive and start being more strategic.
(so you can actually BE productive)
👻 The scary part:
Defining and executing the right strategy often means stopping the busywork so you can take a birds' eye view of everything you're doing.
And the right strategy for you in this season of life might not be the same strategy you used to have.
Or if you're like a lot of solo coaches...
you might not even know WTF your strategy is aside from 'show up on social media and try to get people to sign up for coaching'.
🤔 The confusing part:
You're so emotionally involved with your business, your sales and your content that it's impossible to be objective about your strategy.
I want to give you an example of this from a conversation I had this morning with a mentorship client-
She's a mother who also has a full time job outside of coaching, and right now has a lot of life going on. And she messaged me saying she felt a lot of guilt for not showing up on social media to promote a program we'd talked about selling right now.
This is where having a mentor/coach makes a difference-
Her business strategy is not fully dependent on social media, and even if she took the next week fully off Instagram,
the strategy we've built includes a VERY low-lift method for bringing in anywhere from 1-5 new clients this week
You deserve this, too-
The peace of mind to know that your strategy works for you even when you've got a f*ckton of other life stuff going on.
But getting there often requires taking a step back from 'busywork' and actually defining where makes sense for you in this season.
So I'll leave you with this-
Slowing down for a minute to define WTF your strategy actually is (and if it's working) could be the thing that slingshots you forward.
